This is absolutely disgusting. Spam has its place but it most definitely is not in street tacos smh. Street taco = carne asada, citrus, heat, cilantro, onion, and maybe a little cojita cheese. This= NASTY

I had a couple of cans of Spam with Jalapenos in my cupboard and I was going to make fried Spam sandwiches -- but really wanted something different -- so I googled 'Spam Recipes'. At 'Spam.com' they had a site with 100 recipes. I found several recipes that I would like to try -- but the 'Street Tacos' recipe sounded like something that my Husband might enjoy and I had all of the ingredients on hand (except Cilantro). I made it exactly as instructed except that after adding the seasoning and cooking it for 2 minutes it -- the seasoning wasn't cooked in enough -- so I cooked it another 2 or 3 minutes. I used taco sized flour tortillas, the 'Wholey Guacamole' (Spicy), then I put the seasoned Spam in, topped with onion and a small amount of Colby/Jack Cheese. My Husband just looked at me like I was Crazy when I told him what it was, but he finished his 2 large tacos and said "you can make that again". I ate my 1 taco and thought "that's pretty good". The only thing that I might change is to use a little less salt in the spice mix.
