  • 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margerine
  • 1 12-ounce can SPAM® Less Sodium, cut into cubes
  • 3/4 cup long-grain rice
  • 1 (10-ounce) package frozen peas
  • 1 (4.5-ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese


  • 1.In large skillet, combine soup, water and butter. Bring to a boil. Add SPAM® Less Sodium and rice; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 18 minutes.
  • 2.Stir peas and mushrooms into skillet. Cover; simmer 15 minutes or until rice is cooked through and peas are heated thoroughly.
  • 3.Sprinkle cheese over rice mixture; cover. Let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
