Say aloha to the perfect Hawaiian slider. Throw a luau party in your mouth with heavenly King's Hawaiian® dinner rolls, beef patties kissed with pineapple soy glaze, and of course, irresistible fried SPAM® Classic!

Ingredients

  • Pineapple Soy Glaze
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups soy sauce
  • 2 cups crushed pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • Slider
  • 1 slice of fried SPAM® Classic, sliced ¼
  • 1 King's Hawaiian® dinner roll
  • Fine sliced green onions
  • 1 (16 oz) ground beef patty with pineapple-soy glaze

Directions

  • 1.Mix all ingredients together in a sauce over medium-high heat. Bring to a simmer. Reduce to thicken.
  • 2.Fry SPAM® Classic over medium heat.
  • 3.Roll & flatten hamburger into 2oz. patties. Cook small patties to a minimum internal cook temperature of 160°F (use a calibrated handheld thermometer to verify cook temperature). Pour 2 tablespoons of glaze over the hamburger after cooking.
  • 4.Slice dinner roll in half. Assemble slider by placing beef patty on bottom slice of dinner roll, stack SPAM® Classic on top of beef patty, drizzle additional glaze over the top of the SPAM® Classic and garnish with green onions.
  • 5.Place top of dinner roll on the top of the stack and enjoy!
