  • In 2000, the SPAM® brand received its own Minnesota State lottery ticket scratch game. Astonishingly, the tickets were not scratch ‘n sniff.

  • SPAM® products have appeared in several movies, including Soul Surfer and Yogi Bear, most recently. No word on whether the can got its own trailer.

  • The SPAM® brand previously sponsored the No. 9 race car in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series. Unfortunately it did not run on SPAM®.

  • Upon meeting former Russian President Boris Yeltsin, former Hormel Foods President R.L. Knowlton presented him with a can of SPAM® Classic.
