You don’t need to smoke a Cuban cigar when this Cuban SPAM®wich has all the flavor you’ll ever need. Made with kosher dill pickles, swiss cheese and a spicy mustard, you’ll want to move to Cuba and eat these all day.

  • 1 (6-inch) soft French roll
  • 2 tablespoons of softened butter (unsalted)
  • 2 ounces kosher dill pickle, thinly sliced lengthwise
  • 2 ounces Swiss cheese (thinly sliced)
  • 3 oz SPAM® Classic, sliced thin on a meat slicer
  • 2 teaspoons spicy prepared mustard


  • 1.Preheat flattop grill or panini press to 375° F or to medium high.
  • 2.Cut roll in half and place 1 oz of cheese on the bottom half, then layer the thinly sliced SPAM® Classic on top, folding it as you go down the bread.
  • 3.Top the SPAM® Classic with the pickle slices and the remaining 1 oz cheese.
  • 4.Spread mustard on roll, top and place on sandwich.
  • 5.Brush remaining butter on both sides of the bread, and place on grill for 2 minutes. While grilling, firmly press down on the sandwich.
  • 6.After one side has turned golden grown and crispy, flip the sandwich, and grill for 2 to 3 minutes longer while pressing down.
