You know, just about anything tastes great fried. Eggs. Potatoes. Even bananas. Well, now you can add rice to the list, especially since it’s combined with frying-pantastic SPAM® Classic.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 12-ounce can SPAM® Classic cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 4 cups chilled cooked rice
  • 2 minced cloves garlic
  • 2 cups green beans cut into 1/8-inch pieces
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Directions

  • 1.In small frying pan, melt butter. Add eggs; cook, chopping into small pieces with spatula, until scrambled.
  • 2.In wok or deep frying pan, heat oil over high heat. Add onion; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until translucent. Add garlic; stir-fry 30 seconds longer. Add SPAM® Classic; cook 3 minutes more.
  • 3.Add beans to wok; stir-fry 3 to 4 minutes or until tender. Add rice; cook, stirring, 3 to 4 minutes longer or until heated thoroughly. Add egg, soy sauce and salt; mix well. Serve immediately.
